Packing

Writing Challenge: June 14, 2017

Prompt: Write about packing for a trip.

I am the kind of person who packs for a vacation a month in advance.

It’s a combination of anxiety and excited anticipation.

I pack, unpack, repack, and unpack again several times before each trip.

I strive to fit as much in my small duffle as I can-

I never trust baggage check and refuse to bring more than a carry-on.

And so I pack, unpack, and repack everything I will need for my journey-

In nervous and excited anticipation-

For my next adventure.
