Prompt: Write something using a “word of the day”.

Word of the Day: Fiddle-Footed- restlessly wandering

I couldn’t sit still.

First I tapped my foot-

Waggeled my ankle-

Flexed my fingers,

And fidgeted with my hair.

That wasn’t enough.

I grabbed my belongings and paced the wall.

Up and down-

Not enough.

Roving in circles-

Not enough.

Out of the hallway-

Down the larger corridor-

No destination in mind.

Killing time between classes-

With restless wandering.
