Writing Challenge: May 15, 2018
Prompt: List 7 adventures you want to have before you die
1- I want to travel along Route 66 on one long, extended road trip. No rushing. I want to take my time and enjoy the ride.
2- I want to go camping somewhere so remote that I lost all cell reception, all sounds of passing cars, and all the lights of the cities. I want to stay out there for days, until I have reset my clock.
3-I want to visit an outrageous, completely ridiculously themed park or resort. I want to enjoy the crazy creativity that we are capable of as people.
4-I want to visit all 50 states and 50 countries. I don’t mean “just passing though”. I want to stop, spend time there, and explore.
5-I want to go sailing so far out in the ocean that I can’t see land. I don’t mean a cruise- but actually sailing. Just me, the crew, and a few other people, on the quiet ocean.
6-I want to see as many of the world’s natural wonders as I can. I want to see Mount Everest and the Great Barrier Reef. I want to see the Sahara Desert, Volcanos, Geysers, rainforests, moors, and swamps. I want to see a little of everything.
7-I want to see as many cultures as I can. I want to see ancient architecture and modern wanders. I want to see religious ceremonies I can never hope to fully understand and learn as much as languages, beliefs, and lifestyles that I exist in far corners of the world. I want to experience the full scope of humanity through firsthand observation.
